We laten het belang van de nacht zien als een experimenteel speelveld voor digitale kunst. DJ’s, VJ’s, live coders, performers en andere audiovisuele en digitale kunstenaars experimenteren en vernieuwen op het snijvlak van technologie en clubcultuur. Tijdens deze interactieve avond is ook ruimte voor gesprek over het bredere belang van de nacht voor innovatie en artistiek experiment.

Dit event is onderdeel van de nieuwe tentoonstelling Pixel Pioneers:

Pixel Pioneers is de eerste grote tentoonstelling van Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen die volledig gewijd is aan digitale kunst. In twee zalen van het Depot worden bezoekers meegenomen op een inspirerende reis langs kunstenaars die digitale technologie gebruiken om te experimenteren, te prikkelen en onze visuele cultuur opnieuw vorm te geven. Pixel Pioneers is vanaf 24 april te zien.

We show the importance of the night as an experimental playing field for digital art. DJ's, VJ's, live coders, performers and other audiovisual and digital artists experiment and innovate on the intersection of technology and subculture. During this interactive evening is also the space for dialogue about the broader importance of the night for innovation and artistic experiment. 

This event is part of the new exhibition Pixel Pioneers:

Pixel Pioneers is the first big exhibition of Museum Boijmans van Beuningen which is completely dedicated to digital art. In the two rooms of the Depot, visitors will be taken on an inspiring journey past artists who use digital technology to experiment and incite, and reshape our visual culture. Pixel Pioneers is on display from the 24th of April.
